Summer is here and denim shorts are back but… longer? And the fashion girls are loving it.
Summer fashion is back and I think we have the official, unofficial summer uniform. We’ve seen the micro skirts and shorts and the maxi skirts (and yes, I still love them), but it’s safe to say I have a new obsession.
Everywhere I look: Instagram, TikTok, and the streets of New York; are the chicest looks with a pair of longline denim shorts as the focal point. Hailey Bieber styles them with a flirty top and basic sandals, while Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and Max Mara (to name a few) sent them down the runway over the past few seasons.
They have become celebrity favorites and with a baggy, slouchy fit they’re relaxed and comfortable for the hot summer months. I’m sure we’ll be seeing a lot more knee-length denim paired with anything from tailored blazers to basic crop tees to knee-high boots.
